About Us

The first Sunday at a new church can come with some questions, and we want to make your experience as you join us at Calvary Bible Church as comfortable as possible. We’ve highlighted some frequently asked questions and answers below to get you started.

When should I arrive?

Programs for adults and young people run from 9:15-10:00am, and our main service starts at 10:30am. If you arrive before 10:30, you will have a few minutes to grab a cup of coffee and a snack with us. We will greet you at the door with a friendly face, ready to point you in the right direction.

What about my kids?

Nursery is available during all of our services for children to 4 years old.  If you prefer to keep your little ones in the main service with you, we welcome you to do that. For our 10:30 am morning service, kids age 4-11 join us for the beginning of the worship service. After our congregational singing time, you may have them join our Junior Church time, where our teachers will have a message from the Bible for them. Many of the lessons also include crafts and other “hands on” activities. If you prefer to keep your children in the service with you, again, we welcome you to do that.

What’s the service like?

Our worship service includes prayer, singing (some older songs and some newer songs- generally chosen to fit the emphasis of the day’s service), announcements so that you know what is going on at Calvary, Scripture reading, and a message from the Bible.  The preaching generally covers a specific portion of Scripture expositionally. Sunday morning services normally wrap up at around 11:45. We observe the Lord’s Supper once a month, alternating between the Sunday morning service and the Sunday evening service.

Where do I go in?

As you drive into our parking lot, you’ll see our main entrance on your right, just under an overhang. The main entrance, restrooms, and auditorium are all handicapped accessible.
